Central Saanich is within the Douglas Treaty territory and is home to the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. When BC created Central Saanich through its letters patent 75 years ago, W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip), and SȾÁUTW̱ (Tsawout) were included. This is where we call home and commit to learning more about the history, the lands, and the relationships that endure.
